As a child, I always wanted to touch the clouds, but I could only embrace the mist. The pursuit of this touch became a mission - a quest performed in grandeur; searching for an invisible landscape that resides in my mind, it comes and goes in waves, only just realizing that it will always be a “baby one more time” - like growing pains.’

‘The World is My Oyster and My Body is a Temple’ is a performative installation of sculptures, soundscapes and a cd player. The installation is a personal counternarrative of love about the conflicted process of transforming from a little girl into a woman, influenced and shaped by a holy mirror of contemporary Western Art Pop; a style that emphasizes the notions of the self as a work of construction and artifice.
